It’s been a while coming but it is finally here and my first visit is booked.

My first visit to the Design Museum was longer that I care to remember. In those days it was in the Haymarket and had the most amazing bookshop I had ever come across. In the pre Google/Youtube and search days that’s how we kept up to date and sourced inspiration and technique.

Exhibition space admittedly was limited in the Haymarket and Its move to the Shad Thames, Tower Bridge, brought a sea change in exhibitions. The permanent collection in particular was an amazing source for retrospect and keeping focused on what good design does.

So as we approach the third incarnation in Kensington I hope for great things and continued inspiration and insight.
