Approach
The key to this particular assignment was matching the correct Ecommerce system to the client’s needs and experience and providing enough future proofing for the business to grow and develop.
We worked with our client in an iterative process to distill down to the most appropriate platform for development and working with live demos to provide re-assurance.
Solution
In this circumstance that platform was Magento, a real market leader in Open source with the capacity to move up to enterprise level when the demand and finances supported the commercial move.
Rather than adapting a theme in this circumstance we developed around core Magento features and building in functionality via plugins and extension or custom code.
Results
A highly flexible and intuitive ecommerce development with a new fresh brand and capacity to grow with the business.
We are now at the early stages of discussing porting over and adapting the site to accommodate their wider product range.
