As a child the seeds where sown early. I had a fascination for paint sets and pencil crayons and my earliest memory of great graphics was the Olympic icons representing each sport (this is the job I most covert, as I would think many do). Colorlib have a tremendous historical perspective at https://colorlib.com/wp/history-of-olympics-poster-design/
I suspect like many of us in this field we draw inspiration from looking back on how they approached problems in the past
and use their insight and unique takes on things to bring something new and fresh to table. From my point of view I
always keep a pencil and a sketch pad on my desk and never forget the basics so that I bring a rooted solid design to
the table.
